Murchison Falls Game Drives
Enjoy two game drives along the Northern bank of Murchison Falls, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, and other wildlife in their natural habitat.
Victoria Nile Boat Ride
Take a scenic boat ride along the Victoria Nile to see hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife, with stunning views of the Nile and Murchison Falls.
Chimpanzee Trekking
Trek through the gazetted Kaniyo Pabidi area of Budongo Forest to encounter chimpanzees in the wild under the guidance of experienced trackers.
Day 1: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park
Pick up from your accommodation in Kampala and drive northwest (~6 hours) to Murchison Falls National Park. En route, stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a nature walk and see endangered rhinos in their breeding grounds. Continue to Murchison Falls and marvel at the Nile as it plunges through a 7-meter-wide gap, creating powerful cascades. View the falls from the top for a stunning panorama.
Dinner & Overnight: Pakuba Safari Lodge, Murchison River Lodge, or similar.
Day 2: Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise
After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive along the northern banks of the Nile, spotting elephants, giraffes, antelopes, and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch, then take a boat cruise on the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. Observe hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species while enjoying exceptional photo opportunities of the falls. Return to your lodge for leisure time in the evening.

Day 3: Budongo Forest Chimpanzee Trek & Return to Kampala
After breakfast, transfer to Budongo Forest for a half-day primate trek. Search for chimpanzees and other primates, including black-and-white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, baboons, and grey-cheeked mangabeys. Following the trek, enjoy a quick lunch before driving back to Kampala, arriving in the evening with memories of Uganda’s wildlife adventure.
