Day 1: Arrival in Kasane – Sunset Boat Safari on Chobe River
Arrive at Kasane Airport and transfer to your lodge near Chobe National Park. After lunch, enjoy a Chobe River boat safari to see elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Capture sunset views over the river before returning to the lodge for overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive in Chobe – Transfer to Savuti
Begin with an early morning game drive in Chobe National Park to spot elephants, buffaloes, lions, and leopards. After breakfast, depart for Savuti in western Chobe, known for predator-prey action and iconic baobab trees. Arrive for an afternoon game drive. Overnight at your Savuti camp.
Day 3: Full-Day Safari in Savuti
Spend the day exploring Savuti’s savannah in search of lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, and elephant bulls. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush and continue wildlife tracking in the afternoon. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Fly to Okavango Delta – Mokoro Canoe Ride & Nature Walk
Transfer to Savuti airstrip for a scenic flight to the Okavango Delta. Settle in at your delta camp, then enjoy a mokoro canoe safari through water channels. Later, take a guided bush walk to explore wildlife on foot. Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Full-Day Okavango Delta Exploration
Spend the day exploring the delta with activities like a morning nature walk, mokoro canoe or motorboat safari, and birdwatching. Track red lechwe, elephants, hippos, and other wildlife. Enjoy sundowners and storytelling around the campfire at your lodge. Overnight in the delta.
Day 6: Sunrise Delta Safari – Fly to Maun – Departure
Enjoy a sunrise mokoro ride or short bush walk. After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Maun, concluding your Botswana safari. Optional onward connections to Victoria Falls, Cape Town, or Johannesburg can be arranged.
