Day 1: Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Drive from Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy arriving later in the afternoon. Visit the largest sanctuary for black rhinos in East and Central Africa, home to 140 black rhinos, northern white rhinos, and the chimpanzee sanctuary.

  • Highlights: Black rhinos, northern white rhinos, chimpanzee sanctuary.

Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy to Samburu

Drive through beautiful landscapes to Samburu National Reserve (approx. 5 hours). The semi-arid desert and savannah landscape makes spotting wildlife easy and rewarding.

  • Highlights: Unique species like Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and gerenuk.

Day 3: Full Day Samburu Safari

Spend a full day exploring Samburu, searching for the Big Five, and observing elephants. Game drives are best in the morning and late afternoon, with time for rest or cultural visits during the heat of the day.

Day 4: Samburu to Solio Game Reserve

Day 5: Solio Game Reserve to Lake Nakuru
